You never know what's around the next corner

Lately our life has felt like this road, we head down a path when suddenly there is an unexpected turn and change in our lives. To make a long story short Brian decided to change his major to Business so we aren't moving to Arizona anymore and will be staying at Utah State. Right after he decided on that I was offered the directors position at the preschool I teach at, I accepted it and was going to start training on May 26th, but when I got to work that day the owner called me into the office and told me that they had decided to "go another direction" and hire someone else to be the director and keep me in the preschool because I am such and "asset" there. It was frustrating to say the least. Brian has also had many job leads that turned into a dead end. We just aren't sure what we're supposed to be doing these days. So we're just going to take it day by day. I am still working at my preschool. I am in the one year old class for the summer and will be back to teach the 4 year old math class in the fall...I am hoping that our road doesn't make anymore sudden turns for a long time. :)

Wow, sounds like you guys have had a lot going on. It seems like you guys are figuring it out though. I'm sorry about your job, that is so weird that they did that.

I think I sort of had this idea that "decisions" aren't hard after you get married ... like getting married was the BIG decision & after that it was all downhill. In some ways that is true but in other ways it isn't -- there are still hard decisions to make & some figuring out to do. But at least you have each other! Good luck figuring it all out. Love you!

I had the same ideas as Lizzie. I thought life would be so easy when I got married. The hard times are just different.
Just remember everything happens for a reason and some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. Life might not make sense now but when things happen it will. I promise. Love you and we need to play soon!!!

OMG! I feel for you guys so much! The one thing that I have really learned in this life is that you NEVER know! There may be things that you will think are "for sure" and those usually end up being the things that are so easily changed. Although, there is one constant... the love our father in heaven has for us. So, when life goes way way way unplanned, try to remember that is heavenly fathers way of protecting you and blessing you. Afterall, HE always knows, wants, and gives what is best for us. Good luck you two!!

Dang Steven! What a crazy time for you. All I know is that the Lord truly does prepare us for what's ahead and if we can trust him along the way he will take us places that we could never imagine would be on our path! I love you!
