We went to Switzerland and Paris

Last month we went to Europe with Brian's family. It was such a fun trip. Switzerland is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Brian wants to retire there someday. We went hiking, did a high adventure ropes course, went into the city of Lucerne and did an amazing race game to explore the city(which was really just a distraction so Brian's younger brother could propose to his girlfriend), ate lots of good food and then headed to Paris and saw the sights there. Nothing much to report

Cade of course adorable. He is now 15 months old.
He is now 28.5inches tall and weighs 22pounds. He now has 5 teeth(working on the 6th) he also drinks exclusively out of a sippy cup, but was quite sad to give up the bottle. He isn't really talking too much, just baby babbling.

He loves to climb the stairs and go upstairs.He can go up but hasn't figured out how to get down yet.

He loves to look at books. (Not really have them read to him, but he loves to flip the pages) He can make the sounds of a dog, gorilla, and lion.

He started walking at the end of April. He is getting really good at it and can almost run. He is turning into a very big boy and we love being around him.

Just a few pictures

Our computer broke just after the holidays so I haven't been able to upload pictures until we got our new one last week. Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to.

We also took him to the doctor this month for his 9 month wellness check up. Here are his stats.

Height: 25 inches (.16 percentile on the growth charts) His doctor isn't worried about his height, he said someone has to be the last kid on the charts and it's probably going to be Cade.

Weight: 19 pounds(23rd percentile)

He is a very physical child and loves to be on the move. He climbs, crawls, and walks along the furniture. He eats like a champ and gets upset when his meal is done. He is still sleeping through the night, usually from 8pm to 8am. But no teeth yet. And he babbles all the time, but mostly to get our attention. He is adorable.

Thanksgiving and 8 months

These are old pictures, but better late than never!

This is our family on Thanksgiving. We went to my parents house and had some great food. Cade enjoyed sitting in his highchair and being able to see everyone and all the food. He tried a few things, but mostly ate a few bites of corn.

Cade at 8 months old. (even though he is 9 months old now) I had just gotten his haircut a few days before. I think he looks much older and like a little man with short hair. Very cute. He is always sticking his tongue out.

And just because I thought this picture was cute. He is very good at crawling around(mostly in the army crawl fashion)and tries to pull himself up on furniture-but he isn't always tall enough to reach.
